This nest is near the owl tree at the end of Bowthorpe.

 

Snowdrops in the Preserve

These snowdrops are in my 'sample' bed by Schmitz entrance.

 

Pond Today

No waterfowl on the pond today. 

 

Five Deer

Five deer at the Walton's today.

Two deer in the preserve this morning.

Shortly after I took these pictures Phil and Joan saw 9 deer in the Walton's field.

Pussy Willow Bush

It is just starting to bud out. 

White Legged Deer

The white legs on the deer caught my attention.

After a day of rain I went for a walk at dusk.

I was surprised to see this doe. 

Great Horned Owl

I was thrilled to hear a great horned owl at 7am from my patio. 

Heard it again middle of January.

Pond finally has water.

No rain in November so this pond was dry.

No birds, no waterfowl, very disappointing.
