This year there are a lot more daffodils that we had last year.

The Big Native Dogwood

Flower buds are developing.
It will be a mass of white flowers.
The tree does not look healthy.
With dogwoods on April 30 last year.

Mushrooms and Moss

This old stump is a beautiful setting of moss and mushrooms.
I took several chunks to my back corner garden.

White Violets

I took a nice rooted piece of this native 'wood alba' viola.
I put it in the preserve where the old house was located.
Stones are in the middle of the picture.

A Path to the Snowdrops

From the clump by the tree, a path straight into the snowberry.
Scattered snowdrops here, debris all around this area.
Two clumps off to the right.
These appear to be double snowdrops.

Where Are the Double Snowdrops?

From the patch of doubles by the tree, back near one of those two trees.
They are hard to see from a distance.

For Gayle's and Dorothy's birthdays.

More Double Snowdrops

I found 3 more areas to the left of the house with double snowdrops.
These were buried under blackberry bushes.
These were mostly in small clumps.
They were spread out over a wide area.

More Snowdrops by Old House

These were under a rock, don't know if these are snowdrops.
Two lone flowers in the center of the house location.
These two clumps are on the right side of the house area.
These are the doubles under the tree on the left of the house.

One Wood Duck at the Pond

I noticed that this duck was bobbing it's head as it paddled.
When I looked closer I saw it was a wood duck.
